1 arrested for child neglect

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Kyle Scott Parr for child neglect and an apprehension and detention order after an audible burglary alarm was reported at 3:50 a.m. Friday at 27304 880th Ave. in eastern Freeborn County.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Albert Lea police arrested Joseph John Hamson, 48, on a local warrant at 11:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Clark Street and South Newton Avenue.

 

3 cited after violations

Police cited one person for assault and disorderly conduct and another person for disorderly conduct after a fight was reported at 12:44 p.m. Thursday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

Police cited one person after a tobacco violation was reported at 3:11 p.m. Thursday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Sexual assault reported

A sexual assault report was filed at 9:52 p.m. Thursday in Albert Lea.

 

Predatory offender violation reported

A report of a predator offender not registering a vehicle he had control of was filed at 12:41 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.

 

Hacking, damage reported

Someone reported computer hacking at 9:52 a.m. Thursday at 2225 Bridge Ave. The incident allegedly happened two weeks ago. A caller advised the alleged victim had viruses and he could clean it up. The caller reportedly cleaned out his computer and then wanted money.

Somebody reportedly shot a marble-size paintball or airsoft through a front window at 9:58 p.m. Thursday at 1608 Frank Hall Drive. The incident allegedly occurred Wednesday night.
