The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office will send a message to Freeborn County residents via phone, text and email between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday.

Freeborn County has partnered with CodeRED Community Notification System and CodeRED Weather Warning service. The alert notification will direct residents to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office website to click on the CodeRed logo to enter contact information. Residents may choose the type of weather warnings they want to be made aware of.

Anyone wishing to sign up in advance may do so by going to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office website at www.co.freeborn.mn.us/124/Sheriff, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the CodeRED logo.
