1 arrested for drunk driving

Minnesota State Patrol deputies arrested Ross Miller, 64, for driving while intoxicated at 12:47 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 69, mile marker 10. The person’s name was not listed on Sheriff’s Office logs.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Todd Alan Rietveld, 58, after an arrest warrant execution was reported at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday at 209 S. Independence Ave. in Clarks Grove.

 

Sexual assaults reported

A sexual assault was reported at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday in Albert Lea. The assault allegedly occurred Feb. 11.

A sexual assault report was filed at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday in the Oakland area.

 

Assault reported

An assault was reported at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at Mayo Clinic Health System, 404 Fountain St. The incident allegedly occurred in downtown Albert Lea.

 

Computer crime reported

Computer crimes were reported at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway Ave. Someone reportedly hacked into another person’s computer and was trying to exploit her.

 

Damage reported

A driver’s-side window was reported broken at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday at Country Inn & Suites, 2214 E. Main St. The rear left passenger-side door had a hole in it. The incident was reportedly possibly caused by a snowplow or a skid loader.
