Betty Jean (Olson) Ball, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019.

She was preceded in death by husband, Lloyd; parents Polly and Andy Olson; brother, Ray Olson; niece, Debbie Olson; and sister, Mary Brooks.

Betty was born Dec. 21, 1926. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1944. She married Lloyd Edward Ball on Aug. 8, 1948. Betty was a businesswoman, loved dancing, avid bridge player and devoted wife and mother.

Betty is survived by daughters Polly Colehour (James) and Julie Dauer (Rick); grandchildren Kelly Pennoyer (Mark) and Anne Mullen (Don); and great-grandchildren Ella, Kate and Reese.

A celebration of life will take place at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church (Serley Chapel), 5025 Knox Ave. S in Minneapolis.
