ALHS student recognized
Albert Lea High School senior Chloe Aysta was recognized on the A honor roll for the second quarter.
Glenville student honored
Michael Osmundson of Glenville was listed on the Minnesota State University in Moorhead dean’s list. Osmundson is majoring in criminal justice.
RCTC releases honor rolls
Paige Overgaard of New Richland was named to the president’s list at Rochester Community and Technical College. To qualify for the president’s list, students must have completed 12 credits or more for the same semester with a 3.75 to 4.0 grade point average.
Brodie Fink and Wesley Hanson of Albert Lea and Brice Bias of Alden were named to the dean’s list at RCTC. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must successfully complete 12 or more letter-graded credit, in the same semester, and achieve a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.74.
Aubrey Marsh of Albert Lea, Jeffrey Lau of Northwood and Brenda Harpestad of Wells were listed on RCTC’s high academic achievement list. To qualify for the high academic achievement list, a student must have completed three to 11 credits for the same semester with a 3.75 to 4.0 grade point average.
Albert Lea student recognized
Christina Johnson was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Riverland Community College. To be eligible for the honor, full-time students must earn a 3.25 grade point average or higher.
Luther College honors 3 A.L. students
Seniors Samuel Moyer and Emily Tewes and junior Benjamin Seavey, all of Minnesota, were named to the fall semester dean’s list at Luther College. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades.
ISU announced dean’s list
A number of area students were listed on the dean’s list for the fall semester at Iowa State University. Among those honored were Anna Andersen, Maryah Dulaney-Hernandez, Kyle Neidermeier, Kayla Overland, Amy Sanderson and Camille Tewes, all of Albert Lea; Antonia Chicos and Madison Erickson of Alden; Adam Legred of Bricelyn; Riley Arthur of Ellendale; Emily Orban of Emmons; Karina Stripe of Hayward; Rylee Bowman, Tanner Fjelstad, Morgan Fritz, Natalie Hagen, Chaden Riles and Jacob Wick, all of Lake Mills; Tegan Cotter, Cody Haugo, Mason Olson, Mary Stoneking, Gage Tenold and Kaitlyn Varner, all of Northwood; and Amber Jo Klein and Kendra Schultz of Wells.
