Jim Rutledge will give a presentation on Thursday, commencing at 7 p.m. in the media center of Albert Lea’s Southwest Middle School. His topic will be “The Press, Ambitions, And Politics, On the Western Front Of the Civil War.” An open discussion will follow his presentation, and a drawing for a free book related to the Civil War will be held as usual. The event is free and open to the general public.
