Where are you from?
I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, but my family moved to Albert Lea when I was 4.
If from Albert Lea, which elementary school did you attend?
Lakeview
Favorite teacher of all time and why:
I’ve had so many amazing teachers that I can’t pick just one, but Mrs. Wayne and Mr. Haney are definitely two of my favorites.
Mrs. Wayne always stops to give me a hug and catch up in the halls, and there’s never a dull moment in Mr. Haney’s class.
Favorite book/author:
“The Selection Series” by Kiera Cass
Current/past activities, volunteer work and accomplishments:
National Honor Society, Student Council, Yearbook, Key Club, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Link Crew, 2018 Prom Committee, FOR Club, Environmental Awareness Club, St. Theodore Church Teen Band/Orchestra, ALICE Training Committee.
What do you want to do after high school?
I plan to attend Winona State University in the fall to major in elementary education, and I hope to be a kindergarten teacher someday.
What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea?
Enjoy every moment in elementary, middle and high school, because it really does fly by.
