LaDonna Traynor, 1938-2019

LaDonna M. Traynor, 80, of Mapleton died Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. The Rev. Eugene Stenzel will officiated. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family. To leave an online condolence, visit www.brussheitner.com.

LaDonna Traynor

LaDonna was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Minnesota Lake, the daughter of Harvey and Phyllis (Gaines) Latusek. She was united in marriage to Patrick Traynor on Sept. 22, 1956, in Minnesota Lake. To this union, nine children were born. LaDonna loved to spend time with her family, can and play cards and bingo. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed fishing with her grandkids, gambling at Diamond Jo Casino in Albert Lea with her family and knitting and crocheting.

LaDonna is survived by her children Beverly (Steve) Stepun of Minnesota Lake, Charles (Terriane) Traynor of Minnesota Lake, Donald Traynor of Mankato, Judy Bramer of Waseca, Roger Traynor of Austin, Nancy Traynor of Easton and Patricia Traynor of Mankato; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Janice Klocek of Dresser, Wisconsin, Arlene (Dale) Harpestad of Wells, Barb Utzka of Blue Earth and Denise (Rick) Sabin of Frost; brothers Harlan “Butch” (Julie) Latusek of Wells and Paul (Lani) Latusek of Minnesota Lake; sister-in-law, Mert Traynor; brother-in-law, Marvin Wilder; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick; two infant daughters; sister, MaryAnn Wilder; and brothers-in-law Louis Klocek and John Utzka.
