Break-ins reported
A house was reported broken into at 11:02 a.m. Monday at 313 E. Eighth St.
An attempted break-in was reported at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday at 105 W. Main St. in Clarks Grove. Nothing was taken.
A battery charger was reported stolen out of a garage at 12:09 p.m. Tuesday at 415 E. Eighth St.
A burglary was reported at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday at 909 Luther Place. Approximately $200 worth of items were taken.
A theft of a fish finder was reported at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday at 110 Fairview Drive.
Man injured in crash
An injury traffic crash was reported at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of 790th Avenue and 225th Street. A 20-year-old man reportedly went by private vehicle to the hospital.
Illegal dumping of items reported
A truckload of tires were reported illegally dumped on 790th Avenue near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday.
A mattress, box spring, TV and other items were reportedly left in a backyard at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday at 811 Freeborn Ave.
Credit card fraud reported
Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported at 11:35 a.m. Monday at 951 W. Plaza St.
2 arrested on warrants
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Erik Jeremy Hernandez, 42, on a local warrant during a traffic stop at 11:44 p.m. Monday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and 160th St., near Glenville.
Police arrested Brittany Marie Calhoun, 24, on a local warrant at 12:58 a.m. Tuesday at 404 Fountain St.
