Abby Neis and Eric Sorenson of Bemidji announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Karen Neis of Andover and the granddaughter of Al and Marion Eickhoff of Anoka and the late Nicholas and Lucille Neis of Bloomington. She is a 2013 graduate of Andover High School and a 2017 graduate of Bemidji State University. She is a registered nurse in Bemidji.

The groom is the son of Rodney “Bud” and the late Peggy Sorenson of Geneva and the grandson of Evelyn Anderson and the late Allen Anderson and the late Norris and Hildred Sorenson of Albert Lea. He is a 2012 graduate of NRHEG High School and a 2016 graduate of Bemidji State University, where he majored in business administration. He is a communications coordinator for Bemidji State.

A Sept. 28, 2019, wedding is planned in Anoka.
