The Nortonna Lodge 1-638 of the Sons of Norway will meet March 18, according to a press release. Supper will be served at 6 p.m. for a cost of $8 at the Owatonna Elks Lodge, 126 East Vine St.

The March program will feature Dr. Lawrence Moe on “Knud Wefald: You Can Take Knud out of Norway.” Moe, who is on the faculty of Metropolitan State University, will chronicle the life of Knud, who came to Minnesota at age 17 as a penniless farmhand and worked his way into business and politics. He also wrote a series of 29 newspaper articles about his return trip to Norway with his young family.
