2 injured in Waseca County crash

Two people from New Richland were injured Friday night when their vehicle went off the road and into a ditch on Minnesota Highway 30 west of New Richland.
Aaron Michael Hullett, 22, and Tyson Richard Palm, 28, were both taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for injuries deemed not life-threatening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Hullett was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger westbound on Highway 30 near the intersection with 110th Street in Waseca County when he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and into the north ditch. The vehicle struck a culvert near 110th Street.
Neither occupant was wearing his seat belt, and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Roads were listed as dry at the time of the crash, which took place at 11:41 p.m.
