The Civil War Roundtable meets again at 7 p.m. May 2 in the media center of Southwest Middle School. Gary Schindler will present as the topic that evening: “Lincoln’s Funeral Train — Journey From Washington, D.C., to Springfield, Illinois.” An open discussion follows and, as always, a drawing for at least one free book. This event is free and open to the public.
