On Wednesday evening at Applebee’s, I was going to pay for our meal. A young man told him that he was paying for our meal because he appreciated our generation. We are in our eighties.

We didn’t know his name. It was such a nice surprise. We don’t know how to act! We would like to thank him and tell him that made us feel very good about his generation and the generations to come.

Earlier this year, a young man with the last name of Brua helped us with our car on a very cold day. We just want to say thank you to these young men of our future — and we will pay it forward.
