The first day to apply for an Iowa nonresident deer application is May 4. Applications close at midnight June 2, according to a press release. Preference point purchases and applications are no longer available by phone this season and will only be accessible online.

• Click the tab “Nonresident deer/turkey tags”

• Click “Log in” or “Enroll now” to access the application
