The Friends of Albert Lea Public Library will host a spring book sale at the City Garage, 414 Commercial St.

The sale starts from 4 to 7 p.m. for Friends of the Albert Lea Public Library members. The public will be able to join the group at the door for $5.

Friday hours are from noon to 6 p.m. The bag sale will begin from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Children’s books will also be free Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit speacial events at the library.
