Letter: The silence is deafening

If you are tired of turning on your TV and listening to all the hollering and screaming, I have some good news for you. Trump won’t be president forever. Have you tried to talk to a Trump supporter lately? They don’t even want to talk politics. All they will tell you is that they will vote for that buffoon again. It’s hard to believe there are so many weak minds around. Trump brags about the economy and the unemployment. Obama tripled the stock market and cut the unemployment in half during his reign. Trump inherited this from Obama’s policies. Trump’s policies are taking affect now. Because of his trade wars with China, Minnesota farmers’ income has suffered 23%. He is trying to put a 25% raise in China’s trade to the U.S. If he gets this through, do you know who will pay for it? It will be you and me and the average Joe. China will just pass this expense on to the consumer. We have been enjoying good prices at Walmart, but it will not last. If you are planning on buying a TV or something big, you better buy it now before Trump’s policy kicks in. Have you spent that big tax refund Trump forecasted that you would get because of his lowering taxes? I haven’t heard from anyone who is pleased with that other than the filthy rich. Have you heard of the 24 million people Trump kicked off of health insurance on his tax reduction policy? Do you know who is paying for their medical needs now? It is you and me, brother. If they can’t pay their bill, the taxpayer pays it. This is another Trump policy those pesky Trump supporters don’t want to talk about, and they don’t want to mention the deficit. Their silence is deafening. I am still bragging. I didn’t vote for Trump.
