MTI honors local student

The 20th annual Spirit of Mitchell Technical Institute Award was awarded to Megan Kortan of Albert Lea. Faculty members annually select one student graduating from each program for the honor. According to a press release, students are chosen as the graduates who best embody the spirit of MTI and exemplify their chosen occupation through study, hard work, reliability, contribution to the program and future potential in their employment field. Each was presented with a commemorative plaque during the graduation ceremony. Kortan was chosen in the area of radiation therapy.

Concordia College releases graduates list

Among those who graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead was Solveig Lang of Albert Lea, who majored in elementary education.

A.L. native receives masters degree

Brandon Antl of Albert Lea has graduated with Masters of Business Administration at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.
