Man arrested for DWI

Deputies arrested Ryan Michale James, 35, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 11:44 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 251 and 810th Avenue. James was also arrested for three counts of fifth-degree controlled substance possession.

 

Thefts reported

A tractor, construction equipment and other items were reported stolen at 6:22 a.m. Saturday at 69827 135th St., Twin Lakes.

Two females reportedly stole $60 worth of liquor at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at 2314 Hendrickson Road.

A black Moto Z droid cell phone with a black case was reported stolen at 6:22 p.m. Saturday at 134 W. William St.

Thirty-eight phones were reported stolen at 8:01 a.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The theft reportedly took place at 6 a.m.

A purple 20-inch bike with orange tires was reported stolen at 3:36 p.m. Sunday at 819 Garfield Ave.

 

Man arrested for burglary, vehicle tampering

Deputies arrested Jamie John Kujak, 31, for third-degree burglary and motor vehicle tampering at 7:58 p.m. at 76307 150th St., Albert Lea. Jerry Robert Olson was cited for driving after suspension.

 

Break-ins reported

Two storage sheds were reported broken into at 10:20 p.m. Saturday at 81027 Freeborn County Road 46, Hayward.

A window was reported broken out of a car at 1:29 p.m. Saturday in one of the city parking lots. It was unclear whether the damage was intentional or from the severe weather.

A house was reported broken into at 2 a.m. Sunday at 1519 Sheridan St.

A break-in was reported at 6:03 p.m. Sunday at 104 W. 11th St.

A car was reported broken into at 8:54 p.m. Sunday at 2105 Stevens St. Approximately $5,000 in items were reported taken.

A vehicle was reported rummaged through at 5:39 a.m. Monday at 1006 E. Richway Drive.

A car was reported broken into at 6:22 a.m. Monday at 2401 Forest Ave. A window was broken, and it was unknown whether anything was missing.

 

Juvenile cited after hit-and-run

A juvenile was cited after a reported hit-and-run crash at 5:51 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Lakeview Boulevard and Sunset Street.

 

2 arrested for domestic assault

Police arrested Nikki Rae Gesme, 39, for domestic assault and fifth-degree drug possession at 3:05 a.m. Saturday at 813 Freeborn Ave.
