Community members are invited to meet the candidates for Albert Lea city manager July 17 at Edgewater Bay Pavilion, Albert Lea Mayor Vern Rasmussen Jr. announced Monday.

The open house will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Rasmussen asked people to share their input about the candidates with Albert Lea City Council members.

Candidates for the position are Willie Morales, former town administrator in Northfield, Massachusetts; Brent Clark, former assistant city administrator/city administrator for Grand Island, Nebraska; David Todd, Pine Island city administrator; and Adam Thompson, director of economic development with Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In addition to a meet-and-greet with the public, the candidates will be interviewed by city staff and the council July 17 and 18.
