Darlene “Dar” Nielsen, 69, of East Bethel left this life Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandma.

She was preceded in death by parents Arnold and Frances Tiegs and siblings Kevin and Joy Ann.

She is survived by husband, James; children Erik (Angie) and Jaime (Jake); grandson, James Edward; siblings Arnold Tiegs, Donna (Tom) Thordson, Diane Baer and Randal (Cathy) Tiegs; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Known as Mom to many, Dar enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family and friends.

A celebration of her life will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel, 107th Ave. NW and Minnesota State Highway 65.
