Letter: Outstanding senior deserved better in Tribune

Come on, Albert Lea Tribune! A very deserving member of our community was named 2019 Outstanding Female Senior Citizen of the Year at the Minnesota State Fair.
I was eager to see the newspaper with a large picture and story of Judy Popp-Anderson’s contribution to our community. (The write-up was very nice.)
I opened the paper to see pictures of out-of-date cars, and a building left by a departed business. I went to Page 8 before I found a small picture of Judy. She deserves better! (An apology would be nice.) Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words.
There is no one in Albert Lea with a more comforting spirit. She shares it generously. If your life, like mine, has been touched by her, you are a better person.
Let’s really tell the area that Albert Lea is a super place to live. We are blessed to have Judy.
Keep smiling and hugging, Judy. You are melting our cares one person at a time. We love you!
