Letter: Minnesota is actually closer to becoming red than you may think

President Trump has plenty of support in Minnesota. Hillary won only nine of the 87 Minnesota counties. Despite winning Hennepin, Dakota and Ramsey counties by a combined 354,000 votes, Hillary only defeated President Trump by 44,000 votes.

The metro area’s liberal bureaucracy does not accurately reflect the cross-section of Minnesota voters. Minnesota should adopt an electoral college type system for national and state elections.
