Parkinson’s conference planned

American Parkinson’s Disease Association Minnesota chapter will host a free educational Fall Parkinson’s Conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge in Owatonna.
According to a press release, the day’s presentations will focus on surgical treatment options for Parkinson’s disease, rehabilitation and exercise options for people with Parkinson’s and management of symptoms of autonomic dysfunction — including low blood pressure, pain, sleep problems, stress, pain, gastrointestinal issues, etc. in Parkinson’s disease.
The conference will also feature a talk from a person with Parkinson’s who will share his story. Lunch will be served.
