The discussion will focus on answering moderator and community-generated questions about rural health care, as well as brainstorming solutions to the lack of health care access in rural communities.

Community members, health care professionals, hospital officials, area government leaders and others are invited to attend and will be given the opportunity to ask rural health care related questions concerning subjects such as hospitals, clinics, dental and other health care services, emergency and ambulance services and more.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion, 142 N. Broadway in Albert Lea.

Bennett, R-Albert Lea, said she hopes the meeting will be productive.
