The First Lutheran Church Women will host its annual Holidays Ahead event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Bethany Hall at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Coffee and Scandinavian goodies will be available from 8:30 to 10 a.m. A luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

According to a press release, tables will be set up throughout Bethany Hall so attendees can shop for crafts, cookies and candy. There will be a silent auction and Scrip cash cards will be available, as well. A percentage of Scrip cash card sales benefit local and global missions.

Lefse and the First Lutheran 100th Anniversary Cookbook will be for sale starting at 8:30 a.m.

Proceeds benefit missions, the release stated.
