Letter: Can there be a TV competitor?
Published 10:17 pm Friday, November 1, 2019
I saw on the TV news that the Austin City Council has elected to bring in another competitor to Charter/Spectrum for TV and internet. I might be out of school as to what is required to bring in another supplier. So what is the problem with our City Council? Why cannot our City Council do the same and then let us users elect to go with whoever we choose. Does Charter/Spectrum have something on our council or did they make some kind of concessions to Charter or? I have had two increases in the past six months to the tune of 6% each. I would gladly switch to another competitive service. Respectfully,
