Rosie Marie (Jensen) Holland passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, in San Tan Valley, Arizona, after a long battle with COPD.
Rosie was born July 23, 1948, in Albert Lea to Holger and Pauline Jensen. She had her only child — son, Denny Arthur, in June 1965. Rosie lived in multiple states, including Minnesota, California and Iowa, before she settled in Arizona. It was there she met her husband, Tom. They were married just shy of 25 years.
Rosie was a lover of music and singing, especially dancing. She loved all types of genres. Later in life she found a passion for playing bingo. Rosie thoroughly enjoyed talking to her family and hearing stories of how they themselves and their families were doing. Family visits were her favorite.
Rosie is survived by her husband, Tom Holland; her son, Denny Arthur (Sylvia); brothers Perry (Penny) Jensen and Wilbur (Cathy) Jensen; sister, Debra (David) Iverson; and many loving nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Jensen; niece, Tamera Praska; nephew, Michael Anderson; great-niece, Christa Moffitt; and great-nephew, Joseph Roberts.
Rosie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial service arrangements are pending for a later date.
