Blizzard warning expires; dangerously cold temperatures move in

The blizzard warning has expired, but a wind chill advisory has risen up in its place as temperatures have decreased and wind chills as low as 30 degrees below zero are expected.

A wind chill advisory is in effect tonight and until noon Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather agency states the dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

People are advised to use caution while traveling outside and to wear appropriate clothing, a hat and gloves.

Wind chills are expected to remain cold into Monday morning, between 15 below and 25 below zero.
