Albert Lea Area Schools has set up two dates for 2020-21 kindergarten registration, according to a press release.

Registration will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 14 and Feb. 10 at Brookside Education Center, 211 W. Richway Drive in Albert Lea.

Those registering students should bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate that the school can keep with the child’s records. Children must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2020, to be eligible for kindergarten in the 2020-21 school year. Every child who registers for kindergarten will receive a free book, according to a press release.
