I have been shopping at Wintergreen Food Co-op in Albert Lea for over 20 years. I am amazed at how much they pack into their little shop: products from local businesses, local and organic groceries, bulk foods that you can buy just the amount you want. Perfect for trying new things! Wintergreen looks for ways to support local people by carrying their products in the store, only recently adding locally raised organic beef to their freezers. They also are willing to order things for customers that they don’t have in stock. So helpful! Thank you, Wintergreen for being such a great asset to Albert Lea. We are lucky to have you. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
