Memorial services for Delores N. Kraushaar, 76, of Albert Lea will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, 1415 Highway 13 North in Albert Lea. The Rev. Don Malinsky will officiate. Delores Norma Kraushaar died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Methodist Campus in Rochester.

Delores was born Dec. 29, 1943, to Cleon and Sarah Larson. She grew up in Rake, Iowa, until her family moved to Alden when Delores was in ninth grade. Delores attended Alden-Conger High School in Alden.

Soon after high school, Delores married Duaine Jacobsen and they had three children. The couple later divorced.

She worked at Ventura Foods for 35 years before she retired in 2003.

In 1984, Delores married Lloyd Kraushaar at Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and she was also a member of the Eagles Club for over 40 years. Delores enjoyed bowling, softball, cooking, bird watching and going for Sunday drives. She was an avid reader and read thousands of books over her lifetime. Most of all, Delores loved to spend time with family and friends.

Delores is survived by her husband, Lloyd; children Cherie (Ken) Neubaur, Scott (Pam) Jacobsen and Jennifer (Don Tieskoetter) Jacobsen; grandchildren Jessica (Nick) Bremer and Jacob Neubauer; great-grandchildren, Ava and Asher Bremer.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents and four older siblings.
