Funeral services for Grace Elizabeth Zimmerman, 16, of Alden will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Crossroads Church. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Crossroads Church. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.

Grace passed away unexpectedly after suffering injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Grace was born Oct. 20, 2003, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Torrey and Clare Zimmerman. She had a love for her family, friends and dance. Grace was a sophomore at Albert Lea High School. While she loved learning and her studies were important, her relationships were more so.
Her closest group of friends: Vayda, Lauren and Olivia, were especially dear to her. Grace enjoyed her three years on the varsity dance team. She thought of the members of her team as less of a team, and more like sisters. Grace looked up to her coach, Megan, and the team leaders before her, and she was a role model for those after.
At the end of the day, spending time with her Carter and being with all of her family is what meant the most to her.
At a young age, Grace developed an authentic faith that she pursued quietly and fervently, but that led her to love and genuinely care for others. Grace was in a relationship with Carter, but it meant more to her than that. They shared a special bond that was founded in Christ, and the time shared together will forever be cherished. Every memory made with her will be held in her family’s and friends’ hearts with love.
Grace is survived by her parents Torrey and Clare Zimmerman; siblings Ana and Eric; very special friend, Carter Miller; and his parents George and Abi; grandparents Ken and Kathy Zimmerman, Roger and Maureen Olson, Cindy and Randy Dulany and Jack and Mary Stauffer; great-grandmothers Marion Olson and Margaret Delmont; aunts and uncles Joel (Katie) Zimmerman, Bryon (Darlene) Zimmerman, Laura (Chris) Corrao, Jennifer Webber and Dan (Pam) Olson; cousins Makayla (James), Haley, Madelin, Lindsay, Ceaira, Wyatt, Miranda, Isabella, Tanner and Lydia; and numerous great aunt and uncles and cousins.
