sitting or standing, righteous and true.

Who bring peace to every 911 call, to lift you from a fall

in the school, on the street or in a mall.

Standing in the front lines, some attacked unaware

often around the corner, finding the devil is there.

Think about the blessings that are brought

when this evil is chased down and sought.

We need to be more grateful for the peace they bring

in our summer’s heat, fall, winter storms or spring

We’re blessed beyond compare, by all they share

as they strive to make our lives safe and fair.
