The call for speaker presentation ideas is now open for the 2020 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, according to a press release. The three-day event will take place June 15 through June 17 in Minneapolis.
Now in its 36th year, the FEW is searching for expert speakers and panelists to discuss timely topics in the ethanol and advanced biofuels industries. Abstracts can be submitted in one of four tracks: production and operations, leadership and financial management, coproducts and product diversification, or infrastructure and market development.
“For 36 years, the FEW has provided attendees with timely industry content thanks to the quality abstracts submitted,” said program developer Tim Portz. “We are looking forward to reviewing the many abstracts and constructing an exciting agenda.”
The program team is also collecting abstracts for the preconference taking place June 15, titled “Ethanol 101: Knowing the Industry You Serve.” The event is a one-day, in-depth survey of the history, science, production and market basics of the ethanol industry. Speakers are historically the industry’s most recognized professionals and bring ethanol knowledge seekers up to speed on must-know information about the ethanol industry, the release stated.
Presentation abstracts will be accepted through Friday.
