The Nortonna Lodge 1-638 of the Sons of Norway will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, according to a press release. Supper will be served at 6 p.m. for a cost of $8 at the Owatonna Elks Lodge, 126 E. Vine St.

The February program is “The Stavig Letters.” The award-winning South Dakota Public Broadcasting Corporation film tells the story of Lars Stavig, who left his family in Norway and journeyed to Dakota Territory, the release stated. He and his brother, Knut, exchanged letters over the years, never meeting in person again. Their letters reflect the challenges faced by families in both Norway and America over five decades.
