The Albert Lea Family Y has temporarily suspended all fitness and other programs, according to a press release. In order to fill an essential need, the Y has shifted its resources to better assist families and children in the community, the release stated.

As a result, the Y, in partnership with District 241, will offer a special session school age childcare service. Financial assistance is available for any family in need. Temporary hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
