Letter: Socialists don’t care about manufacturing jobs going elsewhere
The column by Mr. Brown in the Mar. 24 Tribune about coming together was just another recipe for socialism — except for one thing. The socialists never cared about manufacturing jobs going to other countries. Even the great hope of their movement, our previous president, when asked about it replied, “Those jobs are gone, and they’re never coming back.” I remember this because I lost the best job of my life at age 57 to foreign imports.
