Mary E. Fink, 91, of Blue Earth, died peacefully Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at St. Luke’s Care Center in Blue Earth. Please see www.brussheitner.com to leave online condolences.

Mary grew up in Long Island, New York. She met Kenneth Fink while he was in the Army in New York. He brought her to Minnesota, and the couple married in 1956. Kenneth died in October of 1958. Mary worked various jobs throughout her life providing for her daughters. She lived in Freeborn by the lake from 1961 to 2010. Mary moved to Blue Earth  to Friendship Court in 2010. Mary loved supporting her grandchildren at all of their sporting events.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth (1958); daughter, Linda Merritt (2016); sister Mary Furrer; sisters-in-law Elinor Thomas, Lois McQuade, Linda Williams; and special friend, Mike Gilbert (1974).

Mary is survived by her daughter, Leslie (husband Doug) Becker of Easton; son-in-law, Clete Merritt of Janesville; grandchildren Stacia (Cody) Elzie of St. Paul, Joshua (Megan) Merritt, of Bothell, Washington, Emerson (Jayne) Kalis, of Blue Earth, Arron (Beth) Kalis, of Easton, Minnesota, Jordan (Tara) Becker, of Hayfield, Logan (Malea) Becker, of Waconia; great-grandchildren Michael and Darnell King, Camden and Kylea Merritt, Haley and Kaden Kalis, Gloria Fredrickson, Maeva and Lucy Becker, and Bergen and Seren Becker; one brother, Rodney Williams; sister, Rita Rain; sister-in-law, Shirley Rosenau; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
