Duplicate Bridge

Seven teams played duplicate bridge at 12:30 p.m. March 11. Winners were Gail and Ray Schmidt, first place; Jim Fisher and Dave Ring, second place; and Joyce Crowe and Millie Siever, and Vandy Newman and Lorraine Quinlivan, tied for third and fourth place.

Four tables played at noon March 12. Winners were Tom Flaherty and Stan Scultz, first place; Dave Ring and Orrin Roisen, second place; and Vandy Newman and Lorraine Quinlivan, and Gail and Ray Schmidt, tied for third and fourth place.

Both sessions are played weekly at Austin Senior Center. Players from Rose Creek, Austin, Albert Lea, Mason City and Northwood vie for places and prize money. All bridge players are encouraged to play. Call 507-437-2750 if you would like to play or need a partner.
