Chastity Peterson and Joshua Fossum, both of Albert Lea, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kathy and Rick Budd of Maplewood. She is a 2006 graduate of College of St. Catherine, where she majored in nursing. She is a registered nurse.

The groom-to-be is the son of John and Pam Fossum of Waseca. He is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he majored in mortuary science. He is a funeral director.

The couple is “blended and blessed” with children Marysia, Callie, Ariel, Grady, Patrick, Sadie and Nathaniel.

An Aug. 1, 2020, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
