Coin boxes stolen from laundromats

The coin box for dryers at Maytag Megaload Laundry at 2320 Hendrickson Road was reported broken into at 7:31 a.m. Tuesday. Damage was estimated at $1,000 and about $100 in quarters was missing.

A coin box was reported taken out of a dryer at Skyline Express Laundry, 1609 W. Main St., at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday.

Windows broken out

A window was reported broken out at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at 101 S. Newton Ave.

A window was reported broken out of a car at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday at 940 Bridge Ave. The incident reportedly happened sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday morning before the owner called police.

Police received a report at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday that a window was reported shot out of Stevens Window and Hardware, 1109 S. Broadway.

 

Hit-and-run reported

Police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday at 1701 W. Main St. The incident reportedly happened about a week ago.

 

Break-ins reported

An attempted break-in was reported at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday at 100 S. Central Ave. in Hollandale. No entry was made.

A storage unit was reported broken into at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday at 310 W. Seventh St.

 

Woman arrested after attempting to pass stolen checks

Police arrested Sunday Tut Gach, 28, after police received a report at 12:09 p.m. Wednesday of a woman attempting to purchase something at Bomgaars, 1721 W. Main St., with stolen checks.

 

1 arrested for DWI

Police arrested Saw Say Moo, 22, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 12:31 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Johnson Street.
