Woman cited after crashing into car wash building

Police cited Selena Saavedra-Pilgrim, 20, for driving without a Minnesota driver’s license after she reportedly lost control while entering the parking lot to Albert Lea Car Wash, 410 E. Main St., and crashed into the southeast corner of the building. Passenger Enriquez Saavedra, 44, was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver.

 

Check forgery reported

Check forgery was reported at 11:02 a.m. Monday at Wells Fargo, 122 E. Main St.

 

Woman hit by car

A woman was reported hit by a car near Dollar General at about 12:50 p.m. Monday. The suspect vehicle was described as a bluish gray midsize car.

 

Hit-and-run reported

Police received a report of a hit-and-run at 4:05 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The incident reportedly happened Sunday afternoon.

 

Door kicked in

A door was reported kicked in at 5:32 a.m. Monday at 101 W. Park Ave. in Hollandale.

 

Thefts reported

The ignition of a 2002 Dodge 2500 was reported stolen at 12:47 p.m. Monday at 23694 885th Ave. in Oakland.

A theft was reported at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday at Love’s truck stop, 2751 E. Main St.

Police received a report at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday of packages that were stolen at 709 Cedar Ave.

Police received a report of identity theft at 7:15 p.m. Monday. Someone reportedly stole the person’s ID and was using it to pawn items in the Twin Cities.

 

1 arrested on warrant, giving false information

Police arrested Justin Robert Feifarek, 38, on giving false information and a warrant at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday at 839 Lakeview Boulevard.
