2 arrested for domestic assault

Police arrested Brandon Stanley Johnson, 37, for second-degree assault, domestic assault and fifth-degree possession after receiving a report at 4:42 p.m. Friday of a male assaulting a female at 120 W. Seventh St. 

Police arrested Joshua Warren Reigh Saffen, 23, for domestic assault at 9:39 p.m. Saturday at 1422 Lee Ave. 

 

Thefts reported

A tractor muffler and batteries out of machinery were reported stolen out at 10:01 a.m. Saturday near 89600 110th St. 

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft by fraud at 1:27 p.m. Saturday at 360 Third Ave. NW in Glenville. 

A bike was reported stolen at 11:28 a.m. Friday at 308 Vine Ave. 

Police cited Bethany Ariana Emanuelson, 26, for shoplifting and giving false information to an officer at 2 p.m. Saturday at 1721 W. Main St. 

 

Building spray-painted

A building was reported spray-painted at 2:43 p.m. Friday at 117 N. Newton Ave. 

 

Damage reported

Police received a report at 1:09 a.m. Saturday of windows that were reported smashed out of a vehicle at 1904 Bimelich Lane. The trunk and driver’s side of the car were also spray-painted.

A vehicle was reported damaged at 10:55 a.m. Saturday at 1210 E. Main St. 

The front door of a house at 1816 Greenwood Drive was reported egged at 11:55 a.m. Saturday. The incident reportedly happened at about 4 a.m.

A window was reported broken at 8:21 a.m. Sunday at 201 N. First Ave. 

 

Break-in reported

Police received a report of neighbors who were trying to break into a house at 12:11 p.m. Saturday at 210 E. Front St.
