My answer to Mary Johnson’s blast toward me on Saturday’s paper, March 28. The letter was headed “Officials should speak up for unborn.”
Mary starts out her letter saying she knows many women who have had abortions. She says she doesn’t know one of them who doesn’t have a burden of pain and regret. I just have one question: What kind of a crowd do you run around with? They have to be close friends to confide in you about something this personal.
Mary stands up for Mavis Jacobs, who blasted me on March 20. Mavis says she believes abortion should be permitted in rare circumstances of rape, incest or to protect the life of the woman.
I pointed out in my response to her that this is exactly what pro-choice people believe. So the evidence is that Mavis is a pro-choice person. The true pro-life people want to make it against the law for anyone having an abortion no matter what the circumstances are.
Another person who likes to write obscene letters is Scott Bute. I asked him one time if his wife was six months along and she was having complications and he took her to the doctor — if the doctor comes out and says to him that if he doesn’t abort the baby, he would lose his wife. I asked him what his decision would be. I never got an answer. Well, us people with common sense know what the answer would be. These holier-than-thou people don’t even know what is the best rule of law to go by.
If you weak-minded people would quit watching Fox News and realize those skits they show you are all fake. They are done by fake actors portraying real people. If you had any common sense, you would know the real people wouldn’t act like that. Mary, I don’t believe you know all these people you claim. That means I am calling you a liar, just like your idol in the White House. It is understandable that the majority of the American people are pro-choice. I am still bragging. I didn’t vote for Trump.
