Police investigating gunshots fired

Police received a report of two gunshots fired at 10:50 p.m. Monday on 18 1/2 Street in Albert Lea. The caller reported hearing the shots and seeing two cars leave the area. Initial reports stated .45-caliber casings were found in the street, and damage was done to a vacant trailer. No other information was available as of press time.

 

Thefts reported

Eight equipment batteries were reported taken, along with a catalytic converter, from a job site at 7:45 a.m. Monday at 12667 89th Ave., Glenville.

A battery was reported stolen out of a Caterpillar skid steer at 9:47 a.m. Monday near the intersection of 820th Avenue and 180th Street in Hayward.

 

1 cited for shoplifting

Police cited Pamela Kay Martin for misdemeanor theft at 8:36 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Broken window reported

A broken window was reported in a pickup at 10:28 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Valley Avenue and Johnson Street.
