Clifford W. Stahl

Clifford William Stahl, 80, of Albert Lea passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at St. John’s Nursing Home with family by his side. Cliff was born on December 26, 1939 in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Agnes and LaRoy Stahl.
Cliff attended school in Blooming Prairie and then joined the Army, serving his country while stationed in Germany. Cliff worked for the State of Minnesota for 30 years with the highway department. He also worked for the City of Albert Lea and the Albert Lea Bus Company. Cliff was married to Ruth Olson and to this marriage three sons were born: Scott, Terry, and Brian. Cliff married Betty Baker on September 17, 1983 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa and have been married almost 37 years.
Cliff enjoyed fishing, hunting, stock car racing, riding his motorcycle, camping, and skydiving.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; sons, Scott (Patty) Stahl of Albert Lea, Terry (Julie) Stahl of Albert Lea, Brian (Barb) Stahl of Freeborn; step-sons, Ken (Genny) Senholtz of Hanford, California, Randy (Tammy) Senholtz of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Roseann, Mark, Chris (Megan), Tyler, Matt (Ashley), William (Alyssa), Steven (Ericka) Senholtz, Tim (Gretchen) Senholtz, and many great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Barb) Stahl of Austin, Larry (Wanell) Stahl of Paris, Texas, Ronald (Carol) Stahl of Albert Lea, and Gerald Stahl of Stillwater. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, LaRoy and Agnes Stahl and grandson, Daniel Stahl.
A private memorial service will be held for family at Bonnerup Funeral Service and will be livestreamed for the public on his obituary page at www.BonnerupFuneralService.com at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 28, 2020. A drive-thru visitation will be open to the public from 1-2pm on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Bonnerup. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
