She then married Theodore “Ted” Haack on July 12, 2000, in Las Vegas. They had many great adventures until his death in February 2005

Evie retired from EF Johnson’s in Waseca after 25 years. She loved to read, crochet, do embroidery, go dancing, word searches and going to rummage sales. She spent a lot of time outdoors planting flowers and feeding and watching birds. She had a great faith in God and loved to attend church when able. She loved all her friends and family. She was a part of the Eagles Club ladies auxiliary and award-winning ritual team along with being a past president.

She is survived by her children Vicki (Keith) Larson, Sandi (Linn) Cook, Nancy Bogue, Chuck (Nona) Bogue and Al (Tammy) Bogue; along with 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; her special goddaughter, Paula Hanson; her brother, Bill (Diane) Payne; many nieces and nephews; and all her wonderful friends through the years.

Evie is preceded in death by her husbands Robert and Ted; her parents Spencer and Tillie; siblings Gene, Geraldine, Floy and LaJune; her daughter, Jayne; grandsons Andrew and Dana; and great-grandsons Dustin and Auggie.

Evie’s family would like to thank St. John’s-The Meadows for all the wonderful care they have given her. They would also like to thank Mayo Hospice for the love and care they gave her.

She will be missed tremendously, but in her words, “I have lived a wonderful life.”
