Jeff “Fuzzy” White, 60, of Albert Lea passed away suddenly Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Jeff White

Born to Gabriel and Mary (Moen) White on Sept. 23, 1959, Jeff is remembered as a tremendous athlete, an avid hunter and fisherman, phenomenal cook and proud father.

Graduating from Albert Lea Senior High in 1978, Jeff had a passion for playing football. Starting as a running back for the Tigers, Jeff dashed his way into a scholarship at Rochester Community College and Western Illinois University. After his football years were over, he joined the Minneapolis Rugby Club, where he proceeded to meet some of his lifelong and closest friends.

Jeff had a strong affection for the yearly pheasant hunting trips to southwestern Iowa and yearly fishing trips to Buffalo Bay, Manitoba, Canada. From hunting and fishing with good friends and family, to helping his nephews shoot their first bird, he took pride in helping every member of the hunt or fishing trip create a lasting memory.

You could always find Jeff in the room filled with laughter, as there was never a joke left untold. He loved creating an atmosphere of entertainment and joy. He will always be known for lighting up a room with the “Whitey” smile and twinkle in his eye.

Jeff is survived by his children Avery and Jaxon White; sisters Lisa (Steve) Dulas, Tracie (Ed) Bellrichard and Mona (Pete) Nelson; and nephews JT, Trent and Tanner Bellrichard and Nick Dulas.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Gabby and Mary; and grandparents Arnie and Hellen Moen and Frank and Guadalupe White.

The family would like to thank a special friend, Pam Hermanson, who was always there for Jeff when he needed it.

A funeral and celebration of life will be at a future date when everyone can all gather once more. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Theodore Catholic School, Attn: Sue Amundson.
