Starting in June, NAPS community food boxes will no longer be delivered to the Freeborn County Fairgrounds, according to a press release. Instead, the boxes will be available for pickup in the north parking lot of the United Way of Freeborn County, 2610 Y.H. Hanson Ave. in Albert Lea.

The pickup schedule is 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. on the third Monday of each month: June 15, July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 21, Oct. 19 and Nov. 16.

If you are unable to pickup your box at the United Way but have someone who could pick it up for you, call and add them as your proxy, the release stated. Questions or concerns can be directed to 507-424-1704 or 877-500-8699.
